APTC Sponsors Conway's First Soaring Wings 1/2 Marathon

October 25, 2008 - Soaring Wings Half Marathon is a spirited event that welcomes athletes of any fitness ability. The proceeds from the race will benefit Soaring Wings Ranch, a Christian home for children needing a chance. Soaring Wings Ranch is a Christ-centered ministry that serves children who are abused, abandoned, neglected, or in need of a strong family support structure. The Ranch provides a loving and stable home where children can grow up spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. The children of the Ranch receive hope and healing through educational development, counseling, a loving family environment, and the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ.

The race offers athletes a chance to support a worthy cause while enjoying a well supported certified course. Participants will receive an official long-sleeve race t-shirt, refreshments after the race, and all finishers will receive a custom finishing medal!

Advanced Physical Therapy Center of downtown Conway donated $500 as a Contributing Sponsor of the race. We wish all competitors well and hope the event is a huge success.
