What to Expect

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Belinda, Jennifer, Hannah or Ellen, who will assist in checking you in. Once all paperwork is filled out and a payment method is established, you will be escorted to a private treatment room.

You will be asked to change clothes into an exam gown and a loose pair of shorts. This allows Ellen to examine your spine and extremities for proper alignment and movement. It is unnecessary to remove undergarments.

After reviewing your chart, Ellen will greet you and proceed with an interview regarding your condition. If appropriate, a physical exam will be conducted to assess the cause and severity of your condition. (This process may temporarily increase your symptoms.)

Following the exam, Ellen will discuss her findings with you at length and will work with you to formulate a treatment plan. You will receive instructions, treatments, or exercises to start immediately.

Usually, patients are asked to complete a series of physical therapy which consists of three 60-90 minute visits per week for 2 weeks, then 2 visits per week for 2 weeks. Re-evaluations are performed regularly to assess your progress.
